Tough trips and crucial clashes: Palace’s key 24/25 fixtures - News - Crystal Palace F.C. (1)

With the Premier League fixtures for the 2024/25 campaign released this morning, make sure you get the biggest matches in your calendar prior to rollercoaster getting underway once again.

Blockbusters on the road

Since promotion in 2013, Palace have only gone three seasons without winning away from home against one of Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Last season saw wins at both Old Trafford and Anfield in the league for the first time, after winning at both the Etihad and the Emirates in 2018/19.

So can the Eagles repeat the feat once again this season?

Palace take on the champions Manchester City on 7th December at Selhurst Park, before heading to the Etihad on 12th April.

The Eagles take on Manchester United in South London on 21st September, making the trip to Old Trafford on 1st February.

As for Liverpool, Glasner's side will take on the Reds at Selhurst on 5th October, before heading to Anfield in search of a second straight win - this time on the final day, 25th May.

There is festive football against Arsenal at Selhurst on 21st December before heading to the Emirates on 26th April, while Palace head to Stamford Bridge early on 31st August, with the return fixture on 4th January.

Eagles against Seagulls

One of the first games we all look for on fixture release day, and having finished above Brighton & Hove Albion last season, Palace will be looking to reassert their dominance with commanding performances once again.

The Eagles head to the south coast to take on Brighton on 14th December, before creating a raucous atmosphere for the return fixture in South London on 5th April.

  • Sat, 14th Dec: Brighton v Palace

Festive football

The madness of festive football in the Premier League is one of its finest traditions, with the Christmas and New Year period always absolutely jam-packed with top-flight action.

The coming season will be no different, with Palace in action both at Selhurst and on the road at the turn of the year - and against some of the league's biggest clubs.

The month gets started against new boys Ipswich Town at Portman Road on 3rd December, before Manchester City at home and Brighton away.

Then, Palace welcome Arsenal to Selhurst Park, before heading to take on Bournemouth away on Boxing Day.

London bragging rights

With so many clubs from the capital in the Premier League, there are regular chances to earn the bragging rights, be it North London, East London, West London or in South London at Selhurst Park.

That chance comes early this season, with three straight London derbies to kick-off the campaign.

On the opening day (18th August), Palace travel to the Gtech Community Stadium to face Brentford, before welcoming West Ham United to Selhurst Park on 24th August.

Then, after the Carabao Cup second round scheduled to take place midweek, Chelsea await at Stamford Bridge.

The dreaded run-in

Three points are three points at the end of the day… and yet in the run-in it doesn’t quite feel that way.

As the race for top-half and European places goes down to the wire, every point seems to matter more, and it will be no different this season – so who do Palace face in the run-in?
