Top 10 Raid Rare Attack Champions - HellHades - Raid: Shadow Legends (2)

If you’re new to Raid: Shadow Legends, then Rare Champions that hit hard are very valuable. Here are our top 10 Raid Rare Attack Type Champions that will help your early to mid-game damage dealing if you can get them.

Many are powerful enough to handle end-game content too, so they’re good to aim for as early as you can.

What’s more, two of these Champions, Kael and Athel, are available free for new players as starting Champions.

On that note, make sure to join the HH Gaming Discord if you’ve just started playing Raid: Shadow Legends. Come and say hi and access the community hivemind and bigbrains for tips, tactics, clans, and more.

Coldheart

Coldheart can handle almost any Raid content when fully upgraded. She has an immense A3 single-target attack that reduces the enemy’s Turn Meter, an all-enemy attack on her A2, and her A1 attacks four times at random, with each hit potentially placing a [Heal Reduction] Debuff. A must have!

The best choice out of all the starting Champions, Kael is no slouch and will effectively wield his poison magic all the way to the end-game. Hi A1 and A3 attacks can both inflict the [Poison] Debuff, which is powerful against many Raid Bosses. His A2 provides a nice Turn Meter boost, too.

Heiress

Heiress has some solid skills for a Rare Champion. Her Aura will increase the SPD of your team, and she can remove Debuffs with her A2 Skill while also having a chance to increase all allies’ SPD for two turns. You can also get Heiress for free as a drop from Stage 6 of the Campaign!

Warmaiden

Warmaiden is one of the only Rare Champions in the game able to attack all enemies and hit them with the [Decrease DEF] Debuff too. Her A1 Skill can also place [Poison], and she works well with Kael if you have him. Best of all, you can get Warmaiden as a drop from Stage 9 of the Campaign.

Soulbond Bowyer

Soulbond Bowyer’s single target A2 has a 25% chance to inflict a critical hit and also ignores 75% DEF – a quality that’s very valuable against Bosses in particular. Her AoE A1 Skill also has a 25% critical hit chance, which makes her ruthlessly efficient and clearing enemy waves too.

Frozen Banshee

Arguably one of the strongest overall Rare Champions in Raid, Frozen Banshee’s A1 Skill can place a very powerful [Poison] Debuff, while her A3 Skill can apply the [Poison Sensitivity] to a target, making [Poison] Debuffs even more potent against them. She’s a keeper to the end-game for sure.

Athel

Another of the starting Champions you can choose. Athel may not have many Debuffs or fancy tricks, but she can still bring some heavy hits to bear. Her A1 skill can hit a single target three times, with a 75% chance of placing a [Weaken] Debuff on each hit, causing her target to take more damage.

Ogryn Jailer

The Ogryn Jailer excels at clearing waves of Buffed enemies, which makes him great for helping your team roll through Campaign and Dungeon Rounds quickly. His A1 Skill has a 40% chance of removing a Buff from his target, and his A2 can steal two random Buffs from the enemy hitting again if he succeeds!

Painsmith

Painsmith, along with Coldheart, is another Void Affinity Champion, which means he can deal consistent damage against all targets regardless of their Affinity. Additionally, if his A2 Skill kills an enemy, that enemy cannot be revived, and Painsmith will Buff himself with [Block Debuffs].

Gravechill

Gravechill works well with Frozen Banshee (if you can get both of them) but delivers plenty of damage on her own too. Like Banshee, she can place the [Poison] Debuff, and does so with every Skill. She can also land a 30% [Decease DEF] Debuff with her A2 Skill, which increases to 60% if the target is poisoned.
