What Is Super Saiyan God Form?

SSG is a Powerful Transformation for any Saiyan

All Characters that can Transform into Super Saiyan God The SSGF in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is an Awoken Skill. Awoken Skills are designed to empower the player character's attacks. In order to use these Awoken Skills, the player must have a certain amount of Ki in reserve to initiate the transformation. SSGF requires 300 Ki and provides a significant power boost to normal combat attacks.

Even though Goku and Vegeta can use this form, they are pre-transformed in cutscenes and don't get the stat boosts from the transformation. However, for every other character that can use the form, they'll get a 60% increase to their Basic Attack Damage and their Ki Auto Recovery stats. Once there, the player should replay one of the Extra Story quests, "The Hero Tapion Awakens." This quest, in particular, will help the player speed up the process of maxing out the required friendships.

The player may have to replay said quest multiple times, but make sure to select whose friendship you want to raise each time you play it. For instance, if the player wants to increase their friendship with Goku, they will need to have him set as their mentor, and they will also have to choose him as a partner before embarking on the quest. On average, it takes about six runs to max out a single friendship if the initial percentage was at 0.

The next step-up on the power rung is Super Saiyan God Super Sayan, given by Master Whis at level 90 to players who max out his friendship. After that, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (evolved) becomes available at Level 95, also given by Master Whis, to characters who have maxed out their friendship with Vegeta and already awakened the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan skill. Both of this Awakened skills require 500 Ki. Similar to Beerus, Whis unlocks SSGSS, since he helped Goku and Vegeta unlock it in the source material.

SSGSS will boost the user's all Attack Damage by 25% and reduce Damage Taken by 5%. However, their Ki Resteration and Auto-Recovery will decrease by 10%. The upgraded version, SSGSS (Evolved) will increase the user's all Attack Damage by 35% and reduce Damage Taken by 10%. Players will need to be careful using this form since their Ki Resteration and Auto-Recovery will decrease by 18%.
