This pumpkin smoothie is delicious and I love drinking this to get in the mood for fall. I LOVE fall! And pumpkin flavors really get me in the spirit to celebrate.

Just one Dunkin Donuts pumpkin coffee drink can have as much as 150+ grams of sugar. YIKES! I always have lots of ladies reaching out for help in October because they’ve gained weight and are struggling with cravings. Why? They’re overdoing seasonal treats.

That’s why I make and share my own pumpkin pie-flavored recipes to avoid unhealthy ingredients and the cravings, inflammation, and weight that they cause.

How to make a Healthy Pumpkin Smoothie?

This healthy pumpkin smoothie is:

  • Full of protein, fiber,and healthy fats, which will help keep you feeling full and energized throughout the day.
  • It’s low in sugar, too.
  • The fresh pumpkin puree and spices add rich chemical-free pumpkin flavor and Vitamins A and C.
  • The best part? This smoothie’s second all-star ingredient is collagen… which improves gut health, joints, hair, nails, and skin. Pumpkin puree is loaded with Vitamin C which helps your body absorb collagen better, too!

Remember to opt for organic ingredients, especially for the canned pumpkin purée!

Here’s the brand of pumpkin I use… I love it because the can is BPA free. I love responsible brands.

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Recipe

INGREDIENTS

*organic ingredients recommended*

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
  • 1 peeled, frozen banana
  • 1 scoop protein powder – I used Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides for this because there isn’t a lot of flavor (check out The Best Protein Powder for Weight Loss for more options)
  • 2 tbsp. nut-based milk, like almond, coconut, or cashew
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. clove
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tbsp. walnuts
  • 1 tsp. stevia (or more to taste)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until desired consistency is reached and enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
