I may be slightly obsessed with the idea because I find it amusing. That said, I think the English fans and media are doing their normal trick of panicking despite the fact England have (basically) secured qualification for the next round and are still unbeaten. The only goal they've conceded was a 25 yard drive, and in both games they've been denied more goals by the woodwork. Maybe the team wouldn't play so nervously if everyone calmed the f*ck down, but that's never going to happen in this country. | |
