Will there be an extra forum category again for the Euro?

I've also just created a fantasy league, if there is already one created and I missed the link or someone else wants to make a "more official one", just go ahead and we use that one.

TL League code: oxAbMf
link to the Euro fantasy: https://gaming.uefa.com/en/eurofantasy/overview

Has the game become too fast that we see so many own goals?

I think it was the deflection he was set on that motion and couldnt avoid it.

Spanish wingers both almost had a screamer goal

This trend started a few tournaments ago.

WC '18 had 12 own goals (maximum before was 6)
Euro '21 had 9 (all euros before had a total of 9 own goals)

Should be Eze or Palmer ahead of Gordon, but yeah thats what i would do. Player Walker at left back if you have to play back 4, if not play the back 3 this squad screaming out for with Trent at wingback.

Problem is I think you'd still play Saka at wingback over Trent, play Kane up top and let Foden and Bellingham be your 10s. Then have Walker as the wingback on the other side with Rice and Mainoo through the middle as the 6s, and 3 back.

In theory, you could play Walker as the LCB and let him have some freedom to create width in possession with the 3 back set up, and slot Saka on as the LWB with Trent as the RWB if you wanted Trent to start. In either case, you're likely dropping Trippier from the starting XI.

We have all these wingers who don't want to be wingers.

I'd honestly play a Christmas Tree.

I may be slightly obsessed with the idea because I find it amusing.

That said, I think the English fans and media are doing their normal trick of panicking despite the fact England have (basically) secured qualification for the next round and are still unbeaten. The only goal they've conceded was a 25 yard drive, and in both games they've been denied more goals by the woodwork. Maybe the team wouldn't play so nervously if everyone calmed the f*ck down, but that's never going to happen in this country.

Lol Engerland was so bad. Foden was like "Why are you all just standing around? Why is noone running? What is this game?" He is so used to the highspeed game that City does he really can't play any other way anymore
Kanes goal was pure chance. Only Saka and Bellingham playing somewhat decently so far.
Before the EURO I was a bit scared we would meet England in Ro16 and have a hard time. Not anymore

Spain though. Wow. Only finishing left something to be desired.

G’argh that really shoulda counted for Netherlands IMO. Who are my work sweepstake team, as well as me having Xavi Simons in my fantasy team, so a little biased :p

As much as England have been underwhelming thus far, I gotta say France really haven’t done it for me either

France in this game is much much better than any performance of England

It’s pretty moribund stuff, if France have an edge it’s they’re maybe playing 6/10 of what they’re capable of, and England are delivering 5s but they haven’t been particularly good

Too bad, the game really needed a goal to get it going. Not a bad result for either team...France is just trying to get through the group stage with minimal effort, Dutchies are almost guaranteed 2nd round which they'll be happy about.

Both teams were pretty happy with this. For this group there's not necessarily any difference between first and second. (Depends a bit how Belgium's group ends up I guess, I still consider them the best team in their group but there's a pretty good shot they're not getting first place).
